Following the success of the maiden edition of the UMYU NAS Conference 2025, which focused on harnessing science, innovation, and technology for national development, the second edition seeks to build on this strong foundation by embracing emerging global trends.
This edition introduces a strategic shift from STEM to STEAM by incorporating the humanities, social sciences, management sciences, and law into the scientific discourse. In addition, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is positioned as a cross-cutting enabler across disciplines rather than a standalone field, ensuring inclusivity while promoting innovation.
The conference aims to maintain its strong traditional base in the natural and applied sciences while expanding its scope to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, enhance global relevance, and address local and national challenges through integrated approaches.
