UMYU Journal of Pure and Industrial Chemical Research (UJPICR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry, Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, Nigeria. Established in 2021, the journal publishes biannual issues (June and December) and accepts original research articles and short communications across all areas of chemistry, including analytical, organic, inorganic, physical, computational, medicinal, and industrial chemistry, as well as related interdisciplinary fields.
Volume 4, Issue 1 of the UMYU Journal of Pure and Industrial Chemical Research presents peer-reviewed original research spanning phytochemistry, natural products, antimicrobial studies, environmental chemistry, water-quality assessment, food and nutritional chemistry, polymer materials, animal nutrition and industrial mineral characterisation. The contributions highlight the application of chemical and analytical approaches to contemporary environmental, health, agricultural and industrial challenges.
