Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.
An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.
Submission Guidelines:
1. Manuscripts should preferably be in MS Word format and typed on A4 paper with font 12 Times New Romans, 1.5 line spacing and normal margins. The full paper should not exceed a maximum of 18 pages including references, appendices, figures, and tables. Articles must not have been published or under consideration for publication elsewhere in any form or in another language.
2. All titles should be simple, concise and not exceed a maximum of twenty-one (21) words. Begin the first word with a capital letter; thereafter capitalize only proper or trade names.
3. The front page should contain the title of the manuscript, author(s) full name(s), affiliation(s), postal addresses of all institutions in full, functional email addresses, and telephone number(s). One author will need to be identified as the corresponding author.
4. An abstract of not more than two hundred and fifty (250) words with a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of seven (7) keywords must accompany each manuscript.
5. All papers must be written in English Language and authors should consistently use British spelling style throughout their studies.
6. The body of the manuscript should be divided into sections with the use of section heading and sub-headings. Major headings should be bold, left-justified and in block letters while sub-headings should be bold and italicized.
7. Authors should use the 7th Edition of the APA (in-text citation) style in acknowledging sources. All works consulted should be cited at the end of the article.
8. All submissions will be checked by Turnitin plagiarism detection software before being sent to reviewers.
Mode of Submission:
1. Articles can be submitted electronically as attachment to the following email address: umyu_jbam@umyu.edu.ng with name beginning with corresponding author’s surname.
2. Only articles that meet the requirements of the journal will be considered for publication. A non-refundable peer review cost is ₦5,000 for submitted article. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of ₦30,000 applies for authors whose papers are accepted.
3. Both review and APC should be paid into the account number provided below:

4. The main author is entitled to one Complementary Hard copy. Extra copy attracts ₦5,000 per copy excluding shipping/delivery fees.
