PUBLICATION ETHICS AND MALPRACTICE POLICIES

UMYU-JAFR is committed to the highest standards of publication ethics and scholarly integrity, guided by the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Key Principles:

·         Authors are responsible for original, accurate work, proper authorship attribution, data transparency, and disclosure of conflicts of interest.

·         Editors are responsible for fair, unbiased peer review, confidentiality, and handling ethical complaints.

·         Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely assessments while declaring any conflicts of interest.

Plagiarism Policy: The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin®), with a maximum acceptable similarity index of 20%.

Peer Review Process: UMYU-JAFR employs a double-blind peer review process. Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent experts in the field.
