Dealing of Misconduct

UMYU-JAFR takes all forms of research and publication misconduct seriously. All allegations are investigated thoroughly and fairly in accordance with COPE guidelines.

If misconduct is confirmed, actions may include manuscript rejection/article retraction, notification of authors' institutions, and a ban on future submissions.

Retraction and Correction Policy:

The journal will retract articles with clear evidence of fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, or serious ethical breaches. Retraction notices are permanently linked to the original article. For honest errors that do not invalidate findings, a Correction or Addendum will be issued. In cases of inconclusive investigations, an Expression of Concern may be published to alert readers. All such notices are published promptly and remain permanently accessible.
