
UMYU Journal of Educational Research is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all its published content. To safeguard against data loss, alteration, or disappearance, the journal employs reliable digital preservation and archiving systems.
All published articles are securely archived in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP-PN), which provides decentralized, distributed preservation ensuring permanent access to journal content even in the event of technical failure or closure. In addition, copies of all published content are stored within the journal’s institutional repository at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University and other recognized academic repositories.
Through these measures, UMYU Journal of Educational Research guarantees that every published article remains freely available, citable, and accessible for future generations in accordance with the principles of open science and digital preservation best practices.
UMYU Journal of Educational Research supports the principles of open science and encourages authors to disseminate their work widely. Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their manuscripts, including the submitted version (pre-print), accepted version (Author Accepted Manuscript), and published version (Version of Record), in institutional, disciplinary, or public repositories of their choice, without embargo.
Deposited versions must include a clear citation of the original publication in UMYU Journal of Educational Research and, where applicable, a link to the official article DOI or journal webpage.
The journal’s content remains openly accessible under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) license, allowing authors to share and reuse their published work for non-commercial purposes, with proper acknowledgment.
