About the Journal
The UMYUK Journal of Economics and Development (UJED) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Economics, Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, Nigeria. The journal publishes high-quality theoretical, empirical, and methodological research that advances knowledge in economics and development studies.
UJED provides an international platform for the dissemination of research that integrates economic theory with practical development issues and policy analysis. The journal welcomes original research articles, methodological papers, theoretical studies, and scholarly book reviews from authors worldwide.
UJED is published biannually (June and December) and operates a blind peer-review process to ensure academic rigor, objectivity, and ethical publishing standards.
