AIM AND SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL

The UMYU Journal of Microbiology Research (UJMR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, international journal published by the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, Nigeria.
UJMR publishes original research articles, technical reports, and critical reviews in diverse fields of microbiology and allied disciplines, including Medical, Environmental, Industrial, Agricultural, Food, and Public Health Microbiology, as well as Biological Sciences and Biochemistry.

The journal provides a platform for disseminating innovative scientific findings, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and addressing emerging challenges in microbial ecology, biotechnology, public health, and sustainable development.
UJMR welcomes well-structured manuscripts that contribute to advancing knowledge in both fundamental and applied microbiological sciences and that demonstrate sound methodology, originality, and relevance.
