Copyright and Licensing

UJMR supports a copyright-retention model that balances author ownership with open dissemination.

1.      Copyright Ownership
Authors retain full copyright and publishing rights to their articles. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant UJMR a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, and disseminate their work in all formats and media for scholarly purposes.

2.      Licensing Terms
All articles are published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, permitting others to copy, redistribute, remix, and build upon the work for non-commercial use, provided appropriate attribution is given and any modifications are indicated.

3.      Author Rights
Authors may:

·         Deposit preprint, accepted, and published versions of their articles in institutional or public repositories.

·         Use their published works in teaching, theses, conference presentations, and future compilations, provided proper citation is included.

4.      Publisher Rights
UJMR retains the right to host, archive, and index published content on its website, institutional repositories, and partner databases.

5.      Attribution Requirement
Users must cite the author(s), include the DOI or journal link, and indicate if changes were made when reusing material.
